About

Jennifer Feinstein - Attorney at Law

I believe it takes more than just a legal education and background to fully assist an individual in their legal needs. I utilize many of my life experiences such as a business developer and owner, as well as a licensed real estate broker to more effectively create solutions for my clients. I have always enjoyed working with and helping all different types of people. I was born and raised in Walla Walla, Washington and have lived in California, Texas, and Florida. North Carolina has been my home since 1993.

Experience as it relates to Family Law

I founded Feinstein Law Firm, PLLC because of a lifelong personal calling to fight for people who need a strong advocate. Whether you have decided to get divorced or just considering it, I can walk you down the path to take a look at how divorce will impact your life and help empower you to get to the other side of it as whole as possible.  I have intimate knowledge of divorce from the inside out. I have experienced it both as a child and as an adult with my own children. I bring to the practice of Family Law my passion and extensive breadth of knowledge to the inner workings of families going through divorce.

Experience as it relates to Estate Planning

I am the mother of a son and daughter who are both in college and are actively involved in collegiate sports. As an attorney and parent, I understand the need to protect our children’s health and well-being. As it is a passion of mine to help protect families, I have developed a program for young adults and their parents to address the legal consequences of a child reaching the age of majority. Like so many others, I have lost loved ones and recognize the importance of having a will and the pitfalls that can occur if one is not in place.

Experience as it relates to Mediation & Negotiations

With a strong business background and having started four successful businesses over the course of eighteen years, I am able to draw from numerous experiences and challenges to enhance the quality of service that I provide each client. As a business owner, I recognize the importance of maintaining ongoing business relationships. Throughout my life experiences I have come to believe no matter where people come from or what they do, there is common ground between them. I use this belief in my practice of law. In the end, it's not about winning or losing, but finding common ground in order to resolve disputes and move forward in a productive way.  As an attorney skilled in the art of mediation and negotiation, I can assist my clients in working toward agreements that keep disputes out of the courtroom. I am the proud recipient of the The Jeffrey S. Abrams National Mediation Award. This award recognizes strong advocacy skills in alternative dispute resolution processes, specifically mediation.
